In last week’s Kinetic Path’s Chief of Staff Office Hours, we discussed coaching engagingly. Everyone agrees change is hard. When done well, coaching offers the necessary critique for one to grow and improve performance.A successful coach knows how to:
- • Adapt coaching techniques and strategies based on the coachee’s age and work experience.
- • Be an attentive listener
- • Build credibility through fact-checking vs. making false assumptions
- • Detect friction points
- • Ask relevant and open-ended questions
